Mr. Smith joined Feldman Ruel Urban to focus on the sale of urban properties in the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan area. With the explosion of interest in emerging neighborhoods, he has spent a significant amount of his time assisting local owners in realizing the new-found value of their commercial real estate assets. Mr. Smith brings the knowledge and experience developed during the years spent at one of the largest commercial real estate brokerage companies in the nation to this new endeavor. His desire to better serve his clients under a proven platform led him to join Feldman Ruel, where he could best utilize his expertise along with his knowledge of local submarkets. Mr. Smith’s interest in commercial real estate began in 2008 prior to attending law school while working on complex wills, trusts and estate planning matters at a prestigious New York City law firm. While working there, he developed his skill set by working through highly confidential commercial real estate transactions in one of the nation’s most demanding markets. Greatly affected by his experience in the legal field, Mr. Smith works diligently to protect his client’s interests while providing zealous representation and a sharp focus on achieving his client’s goals. With a wealth of knowledge and practical experience in real estate related matters, Mr. Smith is dedicated to helping clients make sound real estate investment decisions. Mr. Smith received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Legal Studies in Business from Hofstra University and attended The Howard University School of Law. In his free time, he enjoys golfing, working out, and non-fiction literature.
