Investment Associate
Mr. Kusimo’s primary focus is the marketing and sale of multifamily properties in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. He spends a fair amount of his time in parts of Northeast, including Trinidad, Langston, & Kingman Park and Southeast, including Congress Heights, Anacostia, and Barry Farm. Mr. Kusimo joined Feldman Ruel following a successful career in technology sales where he was consistently ranked as a top producer for a publicly traded communications company, winning numerous sales recognition awards and other distinctions. He eventually decided to merge his personal interest in real estate with his proven track record of success in marketing and sales, finding a home with Feldman Ruel in its Investment Sales division. While an accomplished salesperson with experience in operations and management, Mr. Kusimo doesn’t view his success in this role as a product of his ability to move people but rather his ability to listen to those people and then provide thoughtful solutions tailored specifically to their needs. After growing up in the Baltimore-Washington area, he attended Lincoln University in Pennsylvania where he studied Biology. Following college, Mr. Kusimo returned to the area to begin his career, first in a management/operations role for a national hospitality company before discovering that his ability to connect with people would be paramount to his professional success. In his free time, he enjoys volunteering at multiple local animal shelters, working on cars, and skydiving.
